What will you do?

As Product Owner of the Integration Product Team, you are the driving force behind our integration vision. You act as an essential sparring partner for the architects and other product teams using integrations. You are responsible for managing the entire product back-log, focusing on both innovations and ensuring continuity. Creating proper documentation and handling an appropriate product back-log are critical to success. With your expertise, we can realize complex integrations, achieving impactful results.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leads the translation of functional requirements into workable and sustainable solutions within the product and platform vision;
  • Sets the right frameworks in cooperation with Architecture and Product management and directs operational execution of the implementation vision;
  • You deliver integration services to one or more Product teams or customers by leading the team of integration developers and acting as a cooperating foreman yourself;
  • Prioritizes and manages the system backlog to maximize customer value and optimize team deployment;
  • Facilitates Systems Backlog Refinement by leveraging the knowledge and experience of the team;
  • Ensures delivery of integration services at minimal cost, taking into account quality and continuity requirements;
  • Coordinates with and involves product teams using the integration services (stakeholder management);
  • Monitors full product backlog and ensures proper balance between change & run activities;
  • Identifies dependencies, divergent interests and obstacles in advance;
  • Monitors and manages team KPIs, metrics, performance and quality standards.

Job requirements

What do we ask?

  • Completed HBO and or WO studies, preferably in IT or business administration background;
  • At least 5 years of work experience;
  • Steering and directional experience as a Product Owner, with strong communication skills;
  • Experience as a sparring partner for architects and other product teams;
  • Familiarity with managing full product backlogs, including ensuring continuity;
  • Proven ability to address and resolve complex integration issues;
  • Results-oriented with a passion for impact creation within a dynamic environment.
