What Will You Do?

As an Information Manager, you are a key figure in developing and implementing IT strategy within Quion and the Blauwtrust Groep (BTG). You advise on the optimal balance between IT demand and capacity and ensure that the ICT Service Portfolio and ICT Asset Portfolio align seamlessly with strategic business objectives.

In short, as an Information Manager, you will:

  • Support the development and implementation of a strategic IT vision, aligned with market trends and customer needs.

  • Coordinate decision-making regarding the Change Portfolio (programs and projects), balancing external customer demands with regulatory, service, and internal process improvements.

  • Manage the ICT Service Catalog, ensuring that the IT Service Portfolio contributes optimally to business objectives.

  • Oversee the ICT Asset Catalog, ensuring that the ICT Asset Portfolio is aligned with strategic goals.

  • Analyze market trends and help translate them into future-proof IT solutions.

  • Align IT developments with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor IT service costs and IT platform pricing, and develop improvement plans to optimize these costs.

  • Coordinate strategic and thematic IT sessions and contribute to continuous improvements in information management and architecture.

Job requirements

What Do You Need for This Role?

You are an analytically and strategically strong professional with extensive experience in information management and IT strategy within the financial sector. You know how to translate stakeholder needs into IT solutions and effectively manage various stakeholders. You will report to the Manager of Information Management & Architecture within the CIO Office.

Additionally, you bring:

  • University-level (WO) thinking and working capabilities

  • At least five years of experience as an information manager, project portfolio manager, or a similar role within financial services

  • Experience in developing and implementing IT portfolios and strategic IT plans

  • Knowledge and experience in stakeholder management and complex IT transformations

  • Knowledge and experience in managing an ICT service catalog

  • Knowledge and experience in managing an ICT asset portfolio

  • Knowledge and experience in financial processes within the IT domain, particularly in cost price calculations for ICT assets and ICT services

  • Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of mortgages and the mortgage value chain

  • Certifications in WFT Basis, WFT Hypothecair Krediet, and WFT Vermogen (WFT Consumptief and WFT Inkomen are a plus)

  • Affinity with process optimization and IT compliance

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior and medior team members within IT teams
