The Story of Facility Management

As a Facility Officer at Blauwtrust Group, you make an important contribution to the effective and efficient functioning of our organization and contribute to the continuity of our business operations. Your work consists of planning and taking care of various facility tasks, as well as ensuring comfort and involvement in the daily work life of our employees.

You are aware of guidelines and legislation in the field of Facility Management and have knowledge of hospitality, smart buildings, sustainability and flexible workplace management. You constantly strive to achieve optimal relationships with external suppliers and work accurately and customer-oriented, both internally and externally. Automation and process-oriented work are essential to ensure efficiency and timely completion of tasks.

What will you do?

You will work in a dynamic environment combining planned work with incident management and ad-hoc queries. You have direct contact with individuals at various levels, including employees, managers, directors, suppliers and external customers. Within Blauwtrust Group, you work according to established processes, procedures and systems.

The purpose of the position is to keep the premises clean, tidy and cared for by proactively performing minor repairs and maintenance. You will ensure that the grounds, technical systems and other property related items are well maintained, working correctly and certified where necessary. This includes directing outside vendors in a timely manner and independently identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements or replacements to facilities.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance and repairs.
  
• Independently resolve minor premises-related incidents
  
• Support facility projects and internal moves
  
• Coordinate vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance of technical installations and premises-related items
  
• Maintaining contact with the landlord for operational execution of maintenance work
  
• Participating in the standby alert service and being available 24 hours during duty
  
• Being part of the FAFS organization and participating in the FAFS on-site attendance roster
  
• Performing FAFS functions during emergencies or evacuations

Who are you?

• MBO work and thinking level with an affinity for technology.
  
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position
  
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
  
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  
• Technical knowledge of office building installations
  
• Preferably in possession of a BHV/EHBO diploma or willingness to obtain one.
