Financial Crime Analyst

What will you do?

As Security Officer (financial crime analyst) you are responsible for protecting the portfolio against mortgage fraud and financial economic crime. You work as a fraud and CDD analyst and carry out preventive measures and investigations to prevent and detect fraud and money laundering. You analyze financial economic crime and translate this knowledge into management measures to prevent (mortgage) fraud in the portfolio. You communicate with and report to lenders regarding fraud and financial economic crime and advise on follow-up and handling.

In short, as Security Officer

• You investigate (within the framework of laws and regulations) in response to reports of possible fraud or Wwft-related risks.

• You will take care of the complete handling of the investigation file, including reporting and registering the person involved in the Quion warning systems

• You provide functional support regarding financial economic crime (including mortgage fraud) to all departments within Quion Operations

• Communicate with external parties such as lenders, the SFH, Justice and the Municipality regarding financial economic crime and undermining

• Perform various administrative tasks on behalf of the department

Furthermore

• You have demonstrable HBO working and thinking level

• Preferably you have experience in the field of prevention of financial economic crime

• You have knowledge of the mortgage process, the market and the structure in which Quion operates

• You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of personal data registration and processing, WWFT and Sanctions legislation

• Do you have knowledge of policy and prevention in the field of financial economic crime. A completed education in this field (preferably Private Investigator) is a plus (otherwise willingness to obtain it)

• Given the nature and confidentiality of our work, an integrity investigation is part of the selection procedure
