What are you going to do?

Within the role you get a lot of responsibility and freedom to work independently. Together with the Product Team you are responsible for the quality of the product. You will manage test scripts, define test data and supplies and execute tests. You test products both manually and automatically and record the test results. There is a lot of interaction between the different Product Teams and with the various stakeholders/suppliers.

For this role it is important that you are problem solving, flexible and customer focused. You have analytical skills You quickly identify risks and possible measures. Quality is the most important starting point for you. You get pleasure from getting to know our platform better and better because with this knowledge you can test the product even better. Good communication skills are important because you have to deal with many different stakeholders.


This is your team

The Test engineer is part of the product team Back Office and reports functionally to the Product Owner and hierarchically to the Product Manager. We also have a test community, which you will be part of. Together with your fellow Test engineers, you will extend scripts and maintain test automation. You will think about the software and process quality of all our core applications.

Job requirements

What do we ask?

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably in IT or a technical education
  • Command of NL language is necessary for testing functionalities on QSP.net. (!)
  • Knowledge of common testing tools such as Postman, Cucumber and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies such as TMap or ISTQB
  • Knowledge of structured testing techniques
  • Familiar with goable working models such as SAFe, Scrum and Kanban

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable experience as a QA engineer
