Your role as a Business Analyst 

As a Business Analyst at Quion you play a crucial role in translating business needs into concrete IT solutions. You work closely with product and engineering teams to implement changes in IT systems and optimally tailor them to the wishes of our customers. You act as the connecting link between business, IT and operations and ensure that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently.

What are you going to do?

• Analyzing and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Drafting user stories and functional designs, including data models and data exchange.
• Advising on and assessing technical solutions, and thinking about architecture and security principles.
• Supporting user acceptance tests and preparing implementation documentation.
• Coaching team members and contributing to knowledge transfer within the team.
• Working with various tools, such as SQL, Azure, and EA for process flows.

What do you bring?

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, preferably with knowledge of mortgages.
• HBO working and thinking level, supplemented with WFT certifications (Mortgage Credit, Vermogen, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data management, SQL, and experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Windows Command Script.
• Experience with architecture principles, databases and preferably Azure.
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to analyse complex issues and translate them into clear solutions.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbal and written.
