  • €4,499 - €6,425 per month

Job description

For this vacancy we are specifically looking for Dutch speaking candidates.

Are you the experienced Risk & Control Coordinator capable of supporting the business in a complex financial organization by identifying, assessing and monitoring risks? Do you see risks not as a threat, but rather as an opportunity with which we can take steps as an organization? Would you like to make the organization better and do you like to sink your teeth into the business? Then this role is for you!

Where are you going to work?

We are a young and ambitious organization that offers investors (including banks, insurers and asset managers) at home and abroad the opportunity to build a Dutch mortgage portfolio that is put together by DMPM according to the specific wishes of the investor. We are now heading towards €15 billion assets under management and are continuing to grow. We achieve this by bridging the gap between investors and consumers, with DMPM acting as lender to the consumer and as portfolio manager to the investor.

What are you going to do?

As Risk & Control Coordinator you contribute to being 'in control' of both the financial risks (e.g. liquidity and credit risk) and the non-financial risks (e.g. IT, operational and outsourcing risk). The Risk & Control Coordinator provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the business and oversees risk management activities. Based on risk assessments and interviews with stakeholders, you propose measures aimed at optimizing operations, control and information provision and discuss your findings with management. Periodically you organize sessions for colleagues from the various teams to optimize processes and manage risks. You are also involved in organizing meetings with colleagues on various current topics, including Compliance and Privacy.

As Risk & Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, analyzing, identifying, reporting and managing relevant risks;

  • Facilitating risk assessments;

  • Establishing and reviewing the (primary) processes;

  • Monitoring, developing and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Framework;

  • An active role in supporting and facilitating the business in the implementation of risk management, e.g. Information Security (ISO 27001), Business Continuity and Incident Management;

  • Monitor and report incidents, and resolve them in a timely manner in cooperation with the business;

  • Solicited and unsolicited advice in the area of risk management;

  • Oversee controls related to outsourcing processes: design of SLAs, monitoring control of outsourcing parties, including review of assurance reports including ISAE3402;

  • Testing of controls and recording of related evidence;

  • Preparing (internal) reports on findings from monitoring and investigations;

  • Supervising audit and other control processes;

Job requirements

This position is particularly suitable for someone who has knowledge of and an affinity for the financial sector in which we operate. In addition, we ask the following of you:

  • You have at least HBO working and thinking level and at least 3 years of relevant work experience;

  • Knowledge of risk assessment, monitoring, reporting and quality assurance;

  • Knowledge of and experience with ISAE-3402 and ISO-27001;

  • Knowledge of auditing standards and basic audit principles;

  • Experience with GRC Tooling is a plus;

  • Experience in a Risk function at a financial institution is a plus;

  • Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.

What competencies are we looking for?

  • You can work independently as well as in a team;

  • You are confident and able to ask critical questions;

  • You have good analytical skills and can grasp complex structures well;

  • You can communicate your point of view well and are able to bring others along with you;

  • You are eager to learn, solution-oriented and have a hands-on mentality.
