Compliance Officer (Junior/Medior) - De Hypothekers Associatie (DHA)

De Hypothekers Associatie (DHA), the undisputed market leader in independent mortgage advice for over 35 years, is looking for a Compliance Officer. With 80 colleagues, we support some 180 franchise branches of De Hypotheker and ensure that our customers can live in their own homes without worries.

About the role

As Compliance Officer, you play a crucial role in promoting integrity and compliance within DHA. You will support the management and the organization to comply with laws and regulations, and help increase risk awareness within both the central organization and the franchise branches. You are a key link in the compliance framework and work closely with the Head of Compliance & Privacy.

What will you do?

• Advise directors and management on compliance issues
  
• Promote an integrity conscious corporate culture at both DHA and the franchise locations
  
• Maintain and further develop the compliance risk management system
  
• Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations, identifying and reporting on risks
  
• Provide training and education on compliance and integrity
  
• Investigating possible irregularities and contributing to improvement processes

What do you bring?

• HBO working and thinking level with 2-5 years of experience (preferably in financial services or mortgages)
  
• Strong communication and analytical skills
  
• Confident, careful and systematic in your actions
  
• A real team player who is result oriented
  
• Pre: experience with mortgage products or business processes
  
• Preferably a completed compliance course or willingness to follow one
