Risk Manager

Blauwtrust Groep is looking for an enthusiastic Risk Manager to join our risk management team with fresh ideas and inspiration. In this role you will be responsible for supporting our risk management processes and work closely with various departments within BTG and subsidiaries. Your focus will be on proactively identifying, analyzing and mitigating risks. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop a broad understanding of the dynamic world of risk management within the financial services industry.

What will you do?

• Support in developing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework, helping to implement and continuously improve policies and standards

• Proactively perform risk assessments and identify opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and better manage risk

• Collaborate and actively engage with teams such as Compliance, Legal, IT and Operations to drive improvements that contribute to a robust risk culture

• Support and challenge the business to critically review and assess identified risks and control measures and continuously look for improvement opportunities

• Assist with internal and external audits, helping the business to prepare appropriately for these

• Support the development, implementation and monitoring of improvement actions, advising stakeholders on best practices for risk management

• Actively contribute to increasing risk awareness within the organization and foster a culture where risk management is seen as a valuable and dynamic activity

Who are you?

• You have completed a college or university degree, preferably in Finance (& Control), Business Administration, Economics, or similar studies

• 2-5 years of work experience in risk management, audit, or another risk & control related position

• Affinity with financial services and a strong interest in developing further in this area

• You separate main issues from minor ones, have an eye for detail and carefully understand complex issues

• You are a communicative team player with the ambition to develop yourself further and to actively contribute to a risk-aware culture

• Willingness and drive to realize change and improve processes - you take initiative and are open to learning new ways to manage risk
