What you will do
As Product Manager Data & Finance you are responsible, together with your teams, for the end-2-end delivery of vision on the product domains Data & Finance to realization in order to develop harmonized products, standardized processes and services and data driven work. You will be energized by the following work:

• Drafting, translating and implementing a clear vision on the product domain;
• Communicate this vision the product domain and other stakeholders inside and outside the organization;
• Engage with our customers to determine what needs to be fulfilled in order to add maximum value;
• Execute the product vision and ensure realization of generic and best fit solutions;
• Prioritize and manage the domain backlog in order to maximize customer value and align team efforts with customer value requirements;
• Leading Product Owners and therefore the development teams in the domain.

You are a solid interlocutor with strong personality and drive. You actively approach customers, conduct dialogues and look for generic, value-added solutions for ourselves and our customers. You thoroughly understand the world of data and know how to convince people of your advice. You enjoy making long-term plans and know how to translate them into concrete initiatives with short cyclical deliverables.

This is your team
Within Quion, the classic triangle of Product, Process & Technology is housed under the Chief Product Officer. The department is thus integrally responsible for both Business and IT. You report hierarchically to the Head of Product Strategy and are part of the Product Management team. Within your product domain, you manage Product Owners and thus also the development teams in the domain.

What do we ask:

• Completed college or university education, complemented by relevant training in the product domain;
• You have experience in creating data strategy, data driven propositions and a technical understanding of what a data platform should look like.
• A healthy dose of decisiveness in addition to the ability to prioritize and complete tasks;
• You are a people manager and get energy in working with your team and achieving (team) goals;
• You are far from developed and have a "learning mindset";
• Understanding of different ways of working within our organization appropriate to the type of service provided;
• Enthusiasm to contribute to optimal service to our customers;
• Eye for continuous optimization of our quality.

Nice-to-haves:

• You have knowledge and development skills in data solutions, engineering, business intelligence and data science;
• You have knowledge of (relational) databases, data modeling, reporting, data warehouses, metadata and ETL processes and techniques;
• Experience in a complex field of stakeholders and managing impactful processes;
• Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry;
• Experienced in analyzing processes and practices, proposing and implementing improvement opportunities;
• Proficient with the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing.
