What will you do?
As a Team Manager within Operations, you will work on key customer processes within the Mortgage underwriting department. You will report to the Head of Mortgage Underwriting and lead your own team of employees.
Your responsibility as Team Manager Acceptance is to develop and implement operational policies within your domain, in line with Quion's objectives. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that all processes run smoothly and that set targets are met.
You will be supported by the Head of Mortgage underwriting and receive guidance from the Quion Academy, where you will attend internal and external training courses to further develop your knowledge and skills in the field of mortgages and People management.
As an Acceptance Team Manager, you will be involved in several aspects including
Leadership and Coaching: You will lead the acceptance team, motivate team members and provide coaching to improve their skills.
Daily Coordination: You coordinate daily underwriting activities, ensure smooth workflow and monitor the progress of files.
SLA Monitoring: You will monitor Service Level Agreements to ensure requests are processed within deadlines.
Quality Monitoring and Efficiency: You ensure the quality of work and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Employee Development: You support the professional development of team members and provide training to improve their skills.
You will also serve as a point of contact for team members and external stakeholders, work with the management team to set strategic objectives, provide team performance reports, and offer advice to management based on data analysis.
Job requirements
What do you need for this position?
To be successful in this role, you have at least 8 years of relevant work experience, of which 2 years as a manager preferably within a financial services company. You have an HBO working and thinking level and possess the diplomas WFT Basis and WFT Hypothecair Krediet (possibly supplemented with WFT Vermogen). Furthermore, you have affinity with financial services, familiarity with administrative processes and automated systems, and excellent communication skills in Dutch, both oral and written. You also have experience with the Lean method and tools and its application for customer-oriented and entrepreneurial work.
