To support our continued growth, we are expanding our international IT Operations team and are looking for a Jira Specialist to join our Porto office.

What will you do?

As a Jira Specialist, you are responsible for the functional administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of Quion’s Atlassian environment, with a primary focus on Jira Software and Jira Service Management. You ensure Jira effectively supports ITIL-based processes, enables transparent reporting, drives efficient collaboration, and scales with the needs of the organization. In this hands-on role, you combine technical Jira expertise with process optimization, automation, governance, stakeholder support, and data-driven insights. Working closely with colleagues in Capelle aan den IJssel , you play a key role in improving ways of working, increasing operational efficiency, and maximizing the value of the Atlassian platform across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, secure, govern, and enhance Jira Software and Jira Service Management

• Design and optimize workflows, automations, reporting, and ITIL-based processes

• Maintain CMDB integrity, data quality, and Configuration Item lifecycle governance

• Deliver insights through Power BI, KPI reporting, dashboards, and operational analytics

• Manage integrations between Jira/JSM, CMDB, Power BI, and other enterprise platforms

• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and improve operational efficiency through automation and standardization

• Provide user training, documentation, and best-practice support

What do you need for this position?

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Management, or equivalent experience.

• ITIL Foundation certified with a solid understanding of ITSM processes and best practices

• 3+ years of experience administering Jira Software and Jira Service Management

• Hands-on experience with Jira configuration, automation, reporting and dashboarding

• Experience translating business requirements into scalable solutions and actionable insights

• Knowledge of CMDB management, data quality, Power BI, and ITSM data analysis

• Experience with reporting, data analysis, visualization, and Power BI

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management

• Understanding of data quality principles and improvement of ITSM/CMDB data integrity

• Strong understanding of English, with a minimum B2 level

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments

• Experience with Confluence, Power BI, Atlassian Marketplace apps, integrations, APIs or scripting

• Experience with Jira Assets or other CMDB solutions

• Knowledge of Atlassian licensing, subscription management and license optimization

• Atlassian and/or other ITIL certifications

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and software delivery practices

• Dutch language skills are considered a very strong advantage
